Job summary

Teach Plus Limited in London is seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in Waltham Forest on an ASAP basis. This role focuses on pupils with additional needs, supporting them academically and emotionally in a structured, calm classroom.

The successful candidate will build strong relationships, differentiate learning, monitor progress, and work with SEN staff and teaching assistants to ensure inclusive education and wellbeing for all pupils.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
• Experience with pupils with SEND is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with Update Service and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Deliver differentiated lessons as a Nurture Teacher.

We are seeking a dedicated Nurture Teacher to join a specialist secondary school in Waltham Forest on an ASAP basis.This Nurture Teacher role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them develop both academically and emotionally.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
• Previous experience working with pupils with SEND is desirable
• Experience supporting social, emotional and behavioural needs is advantageous
• Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
• Right to work in the UK
