Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting a Nursery EYFS Primary Teacher for a one-form-entry primary school in Cannock. The role is full-time and long-term from October to December 2026, with potential extension. You will plan, assess and mark pupils' work, deliver engaging lessons, and work with other teachers and teaching assistants.

ECTs are welcome alongside experienced teachers. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8:15am-4:30pm; DBS required and two references will be requested.

Qualifications

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS curriculum.
• Experience in nurseries or primary schools.
• Recent UK school experience.
• DBS under Update Service or issued within last 12 months.
• Provide two excellent references.

Are you a Primary Teacher looking for a new position?

Flourish Education is recruiting for a Primary Teacher to work in a Nursery class at a one-form-entry primary school based in Cannock.

Our client is looking to recruit a Nursery Teacher to work on a full-time, long-term basis from October to December 2026, with the potential for this to be extended for the right candidate.

You will be expected to plan, assess and mark pupils’ work in line with school policy, deliver engaging and creative lessons, and work alongside other class teachers and teaching assistants.

ECTs are encouraged to apply, as well as experienced teachers. Your working hours will be Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:30 pm.

Required Skills and Experience for this EYFS Teacher Role:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have good curriculum knowledge of the EYFS.
• Have experience working in nurseries or primary schools.
• Have recent UK school experience.
• Hold a DBS on the Update Service or have one that was issued within the last 12 months.
• Be able to provide a minimum of two excellent references.
