Flourish Education is looking to recruit enthusiastic Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our growing team, working across primary schools in Stafford and the surrounding areas. As an ECT with Flourish Education you’ll deliver engaging lessons, work with support staff, provide feedback, and promote high standards of behaviour and learning.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• A positive and professional approach to teaching.
• Commitment, flexibility and reliability.
• A recent and relevant school reference from a previous employer or school placement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons aligned with each school's curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to support pupils.
• Provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents and pupils.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and learning in the classroom.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply, short-term placements, or long-term opportunities, we can help you find a role that suits your career goals.

If you're unsure whether you're ready for a full-class planning role or would prefer to gain experience across different schools before beginning your induction, we're here to support you. We can help you build confidence in the classroom while securing your first teaching position.

As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) working with Flourish Education, your responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons in line with each school's curriculum and teaching strategies, working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure all pupils are supported, providing constructive feedback in line with school policies, communicating effectively with staff, parents and pupils, and promoting high standards of behaviour and learning within the classroom.

We offer opportunities across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), giving you the chance to gain valuable experience in a range of school settings.
