Job summary

Empowering Learning in Guisborough is seeking a Room Leader to join an enthusiastic nursery team. You will lead a room, ensuring a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can learn and thrive.

As a key member of the staff, you will develop practitioners, plan engaging activities, and work closely with parents to provide outstanding care and developmental support.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Experience leading a room or readiness to take the next step.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Confident in supporting and developing other practitioners.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Passionate about children’s learning, development and wellbeing.
• Ability to build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Takes safeguarding and children’s welfare seriously.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and committed Room Leader to join a fantastic nursery setting in Guisborough and play a key role in the day-to-day running of the room.

The Role

As Room Leader, you will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children are supported to learn, develop and reach their full potential.

You will lead a team of practitioners, organise engaging activities, support children's individual needs and work closely with parents and colleagues to provide an exceptional standard of care.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

• Has a Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
• Has previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• Has experience leading a room or is ready to take the next step
• Has a strong understanding of the EYFS
• Is confident supporting and developing other practitioners
• Has excellent communication and organisational skills
• Is passionate about children's learning, development and wellbeing
• Can build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues
• Takes safeguarding and children's welfare seriously
