Job summary

Hedgehog Recruitment is seeking a Nursery Room Leader for our NEW nursery near West Byfleet. The role involves leading the Preschool or Babies room, ensuring high standards and supporting nursery management.

Training and development are provided, with hours of 38 per week between 8am and 6pm, over 4 or 5 days. We require strong Level 3+ Early Years practitioners who can lead a team, communicate well, and contribute to a vibrant, child-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 3 or above in childcare.
• Experience in childcare and early years.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

Nursery Room Leader

We are currently recruiting for two positions at our beautiful NEW nursery, pre-school near West Byfleet.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our committed team, with full training and support provided for all our staff.

We currently have two roles we are looking for Room Leaders to manage the daily running within either the Preschool room or with our youngest children in babies unit.

We are looking for strong, experienced Level 3 Early Years practitioners, who are confident at leading a team, maintaining high standards within their room and supporting the nursery management team. Must have have experience in childcare and early years, who is keen to train and develop their skills within a friendly vibrant NEW nursery!

Hours: 38 hours per week, we are open 8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, working over 4 or 5 days.

Part time hours can be discussed.

The successful applicant will:

• Be passionate about working with children and developing young minds
• Have good communication skills
• Be a Team player
• Hold a Level 3 or above in childcare.
• Have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stages (EYFS)
