St. George’s Nursery Group is seeking a Nursery Room Leader to support and guide staff, liaise with families and ensure smooth daily operation in the room.

You will uphold high standards of care, education and safeguarding in line with EYFS guidelines, while contributing to staff development and teamwork. This is a great first step into leadership within a supportive, award-winning nursery group that values its people, offers ongoing CPD and progression opportunities, and a welcoming workplace

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent).
• You must have a good understanding of the EYFS and be capable of maintaining children’s development records.
• We are committed to safeguarding children, and all posts are subject to an enhanced DBS check and references.
• Childcare experience: 3 years+ (Required)
• Management experience: (Preferred but not essential)

About you

This is the perfect first step into nursery leadership. As a Nursery Room Leader, you’ll support and guide your team, work closely with the Deputy and Nursery Manager, and help ensure the room runs smoothly each day. You’ll play an important part in maintaining high standards of care, education and safeguarding, while helping to create a positive environment where both children and staff can thrive.
