Job summary

St George’s Nursery is seeking an experienced manager to lead the day-to-day running of the nursery in the East Midlands. You will inspire, support and develop your team while maintaining high standards of safeguarding, care and EYFS practice.

This fixed-term maternity-cover role is full-time (40 hours, Monday to Friday, 7:30am–6:00pm) with a salary up to £44,000 per annum plus annual reviews and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• At least two years’ early years or other suitable experience.
• Experience leading and motivating a nursery team.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A positive, professional and family-focused approach.

Contract:Fixed-term maternity cover, (With the possibility this could lead to a permanent role at one of our nurseries).
Hours:Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm.
