Job summary

The Learning Experience UK in Leatherhead is seeking an experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our high-quality early years team. The role focuses on planning and delivering activities aligned with children’s developmental needs while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating EYFS-compliant setting.

You will monitor milestones, partner closely with families, and lead colleagues to maintain exceptional care and learning standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Early Years setting (e.g. Room Leader, Nursery Practitioner, Nursery Nurse, or Early Years Educator).
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection.
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities that meet children’s developmental needs.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment in line with EYFS standards.
• Monitor, record, and celebrate milestones in children’s development.
• Communicate effectively with families to build strong relationships.

Nursery Room Leader – Leatherhead

Salary: Up to £35,006 per year (depending on qualifications & experience)

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Location: Leatherhead, Surrey

Eligibility: The successful candidate must have the legal right to work in the UK prior to commencing employment. Please note that this role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future.
