Job summary

Storal’s Main Street Nursery in Long Eaton is looking for a part-time early years practitioner to support children’s development through play-based learning and a warm, nurturing environment.

You will plan activities, observe progress and deliver the Storal curriculum while prioritising safety, care and meaningful interactions with families during daily routines.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.
• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 is desirable but not essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.
• Seek learning opportunities in daily routines such as mealtimes and transitions.

Job description

Nursery: Main Street Nursery School, Main Street, Long Eaton, Nottingham, NG10 1GR

Hours: Part Time, Monday - Friday 15 hours per week 11am - 2pm

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.
