Job summary

Storal’s Meir Park Nursery in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an Early Years practitioner to plan activities, observe progress and provide personal care in a warm, play-based setting, supporting children’s development every day.

You’ll work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary up to £13.30 per hour depending on qualifications and experience, plus a £500 welcome bonus. An EYFS qualification (Level 2/3) and experience with all age groups are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with all age groups in Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and observe children’s progress.
• Provide personal care and support play-based learning.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy daily.
• Engage with families to build bonding and learning moments.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous
