Job summary

Main Street Nursery School in Long Eaton is seeking a caring Early Years practitioner for a part-time position. The role runs Monday to Friday, 11:00–14:00, totaling 15 hours per week, with pay up to £13.30 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.

You will plan activities, observe progress, and provide personal care under the Storal framework, engaging with children and families to support learning through play-based methods.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily. Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments. You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous

An Early Years qualification at Level 2/3is desirable but not essential for this role
