Job summary

WMC Training is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their Lincoln team in LN6. The role focuses on supporting EYFS curriculum delivery, caring for children aged 0-5, and developing practitioners through LV2/LV3 early years qualifications.

You will work collaboratively, plan enriching activities, observe progress, and ensure safeguarding. This in-person position emphasizes teamwork, learning, and progression toward LV5 leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Must have prior nursery experience.
• Willing to learn a qualification.
• Ability to write clear objective observation.
• Commitment to complete a childcare qualification.
• In-person work location.

Responsibilities

• To support fellow educators to deliver the setting's curriculum and standard of practice.
• To plan, provide and support age-appropriate play opportunities in line with the curriculum and individual needs.
• To observe, assess and record children's learning and development progress.
• To ensure safeguarding and welfare of all children in your care.
• To build and maintain positive relationships with parents/carers.
• To attend regular team meetings and training events as identified.
