Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting an Early Years Practitioner for a nursery in Rotherham. Immediate start with temporary terms and potential to transition to long-term for the right candidate.

The role involves supporting children across Early Years, with a focus on learning, development and everyday care, in a positive, safe environment. You should have nursery/early years experience, EYFS knowledge and a caring, adaptable approach for different age groups.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a nursery in Sheffield who are looking to appoint an Early Years Practitioner. The setting is looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual who can provide a positive, safe and engaging environment for children throughout their early development.

The nursery is looking to take on an Early Years Practitioner on a short-term basis, with the potential to become long term for the right candidate. The successful Early Years Practitioner will primarily support within the nursery but will be expected to work flexibly across Early Years where required, supporting children's learning, development and day-to-day care.

The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:

• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring and positive approach to supporting young children
• The ability to adapt across different Early Years age groups
• A reliable and enthusiastic attitude
