Job summary

TeacherActive is partnering with private day nurseries in York to recruit a qualified Nursery Practitioner for flexible, part-time day-to-day shifts.

You will support children aged 0-5 across nursery rooms, assisting with daily routines, activities and learning in line with the EYFS, and be adaptable to different settings.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare.
• Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification.
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS.
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years.
• Flexibility to work across different nursery rooms.

We are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to work on a flexible, part-time, day-to-day basis, allowing you to choose the days that suit your availability each week. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children aged 0-5 across nursery rooms, assisting with daily routines, activities and learning in line with the EYFS.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare
• Valid Paediatric First Aid qualification
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• Experience working with children aged 0-5 years
• Flexibility to work across different nursery rooms
