Job summary

TeacherActive is working with an independent nursery in York to appoint a Nursery Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis with an immediate start. You will support children’s learning, development and wellbeing in a safe, stimulating early years environment.

The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, have EYFS knowledge, and bring enthusiasm, reliability and strong teamwork to the welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Experience in an Early Years or nursery setting is desirable.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework is essential.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children's learning, development and wellbeing while helping to provide a safe, stimulating and positive early years environment, with opportunities to progress within the company.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience working within an Early Years or nursery setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
• A caring and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A reliable and adaptable attitude
