Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Level 2 qualified Nursery Practitioner in Sheffield to support children's development within a nurturing environment. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will help with development, daily activities and learning while maintaining a safe environment. Salary is £14.25–£15 per hour, with market-leading pay and ongoing CPD support.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Experience in nursery or Early Years setting.
• Knowledge of the EYFS.
• Passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
• A reliable and hard-working approach.
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and pride in their work.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s development, daily activities and learning within the setting.
• Maintain a safe, engaging and nurturing environment for young children.
• Assist with routines and helping children with age-appropriate activities.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a temp to permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children within the setting, helping with their development, daily activities and learning while maintaining a safe, engaging and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
• Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• A passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• A reliable and hard-working approach
• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and pride in their work
