TeacherActive is working with an established nursery in Tamworth to provide a warm, nurturing environment for children aged 1 to 5. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will bring learning to life through imaginative play, creative activities and meaningful interactions, while supporting development in line with EYFS.

This temporary role offers a real chance for progression, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years is desirable.
• Experience working with children aged 1 to 5 in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.

The nursery is looking to welcome an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner on a temporary basis, with the exciting possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help bring learning to life through imaginative play, creative activities and meaningful interactions, whilst supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and maintaining a safe, caring environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• Experience working with children aged 1 to 5 in a nursery or Early Years setting
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
• A caring, enthusiastic and creative approach to supporting young learners
• A positive 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
