Job summary

TeacherActive Limited. in Tamworth is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to support children aged 1–5 in a warm, nurturing nursery environment.

The role is temporary with the exciting possibility of permanency for the right candidate, starting immediately. You’ll bring EYFS knowledge, engagement in imaginative play, and a caring, team-focused approach to daily routines.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Childcare qualification (desirable).
• Experience with children aged 1–5 in nursery or EYFS setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
• Caring, enthusiastic and creative approach to supporting young learners.
• Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support children aged 1–5 with learning through imaginative play and activities.

Job Description

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with an established nursery in Tamworth that prides itself on creating a warm, friendly and nurturing environment for children aged 1 to 5 years. With a welcoming team and a positive, child-centred approach, this setting provides a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference during the most important stages of a child's development.

The nursery is looking to welcome an enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner on a temporary basis, with the exciting possibility of a permanent position for the right candidate. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will help bring learning to life through imaginative play, creative activities and meaningful interactions, whilst supporting children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and maintaining a safe, caring environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
• Experience working with children aged 1 to 5 in a nursery or Early Years setting
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding and promoting children's welfare
• A caring, enthusiastic and creative approach to supporting young learners
• A positive 'can-do' attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
