Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd in Mirfield is recruiting a Nursery Practitioner for a friendly 80-place nursery. The role is flexible, offering part-time, full-time and day-to-day opportunities to fit your availability, and you will support children with learning and development in line with the EYFS.

You will hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years and bring knowledge of EYFS, experience in a nursery setting, and a caring, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of the EYFS framework.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an 80-place nursery based in Mirfield, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Practitioner to join their team. The nursery provides an environment where children can learn, play and develop their confidence through engaging, age-appropriate activities.

The nursery is looking to take on a qualified Nursery Practitioner on a flexible basis, offering part-time, full-time and day-to-day opportunities to suit individual availability. The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children with their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years
• Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
• Ability to support children's learning through play and age-appropriate activities
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Flexibility, reliability and a positive 'can-do' attitude
