Job summary

TeacherActive is working with welcoming nurseries across the Stafford area looking for caring Nursery Practitioners to join day-to-day, full-time and long-term opportunities.

You will support learning, development and personal care in a safe, engaging environment, with a strong focus on EYFS principles and play-based learning. The role suits confident, enthusiastic practitioners committed to nurturing children’s growth.

Qualifications

• Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
• Experience supporting learning, development and personal care needs in a nursery.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning activities.
• Support children’s communication, physical, social and emotional development.
• Observe and contribute towards children’s developmental progress.

Salary: £14.25 per hour

The successful Nursery Practitioner will:

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential


• Have previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting


• Have a good understanding of the EYFS framework


• Plan and deliver engaging play-based learning activities


• Support children's communication, physical, social and emotional development


• Be confident supporting personal care, where required


• Observe and contribute towards children's developmental progress


• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment


• Be caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic
