Job summary

Simply Education Ltd in Leeds is seeking Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to work with a range of friendly nurseries across Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years is desirable.
• Non-qualified applicants will be considered if there is relevant nursery/early years experience.
• Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Reliable, professional and able to work in different nursery environments.
• DBS on Update Service is desirable or willingness to apply.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development.
• Delivering fun and engaging activities in line with the EYFS.
• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
• Building positive relationships with children and nursery staff.
• Supporting children's emotional, social and physical development.
• Following safeguarding and nursery policies at all times.

What you'll be doing

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll become a valued part of the nursery team, helping to create a safe, happy and engaging environment where children can learn, play and develop.

• Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development

• Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
• Building positive relationships with children and nursery staff

What we're looking for

We welcome applications from both qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners.

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years is desirable, but not essential
• Non-qualified applicants will be considered, providing you have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
• Reliable, professional and confident working within different nursery environments
• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to apply for oneIf you have hands-on nursery experience but don't hold a formal childcare qualification, we'd still love to hear from you.
