Job summary

Stafflex Education Recruitment Limited is seeking enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to support a range of nurseries across Huddersfield this Autumn term.

Join our supply team for day-to-day, short-term or longer-term assignments, with flexible scheduling and ongoing support from the Stafflex Education team to help you manage your commitments and career development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience in a nursery or early years setting.
• Solid understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
• Kind, patient and nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Satisfactory references and safeguarding checks as required by Stafflex.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care, learning and play for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support children's development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, changing and sleep times.
• Encourage language, social, emotional and physical development through play and exploration.
• Collaborate with nursery staff to meet each child's needs.
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families.
• Adhere to nursery policies and safeguarding standards.

Are you an enthusiastic, caring and dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who loves helping little learners thrive?

Stafflex Education is looking for passionate and flexible Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioners to join our supply team, supporting a range of welcoming nurseries and early years settings across Huddersfield this Autumn term.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day flexibility, short-term assignments or longer-term placements, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to young children's lives while enjoying flexibility around your own commitments.

About the Role

• Deliver high-quality care, learning and play for children aged 0-5 years
• Support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and creativity
• Support daily routines, including feeding, changing and sleep/nap times
• Encourage children's language, social, emotional and physical development through play and exploration
• Work collaboratively with nursery staff to meet each child's individual needs
• Build positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
• Follow nursery policies and maintain high standards of safeguarding and child welfare at all times

Requirements

• Essential: Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and children's development
• A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
• A kind, patient and nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Satisfactory references and completion of Stafflex's required safeguarding checks
