Job summary

TeacherActive is proud to be working with an independent nursery in Leeds, who are looking to welcome a Nursery Practitioner to their well-established team. This OFSTED 'Outstanding' setting focuses on child-led play and provides a dedicated forest school area where children can explore, learn and develop through outdoor experiences.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a permanent, full-time basis with an immediate start.

Qualifications

• A relevant Early Years or Childcare qualification.
• Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• A good understanding of the EYFS.
• A passion for supporting children through child-led learning and play.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, enthusiastic and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• The successful Nursery Practitioner will support children's learning and development, provide engaging child-led activities and help maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing Early Years environment.

Salary: £14.50 - £15.00 per hour
