Job summary

VD Recruitment, on behalf of a growing and award-winning Nursery Group in London, is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for Tunbridge Wells.

You will deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage, work closely with parents, attend meetings, maintain a safe environment and uphold the nursery's high standards. The role offers a salary of GBP 26,000–28,000 per annum, 40 hours per week, enhanced DBS required, and access to online training, wellbeing support and ongoing career development.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 in Childcare & Education or higher.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and other guidance for young children in line with nursery policy.
• Work in partnership with parents/carers to involve them in their child’s education.
• Attend parents' meetings and open days; ensure safety and security of children, staff and visitors.
• Undertake other duties as reasonably required and participate in training as directed.
• Promote positive relations between staff, parents and children and uphold nursery ethos.

VD Recruitment has partnered with a growing and wonderful Award winning Nursery Group in London.

We are looking for a strong Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in Tunbridge Wells, one of their fantastic setting with a wonderful community feel and an amazing and supportive team!

You must have strong knowledge of the EYFS, good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. The Nursery Practitioner must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude towards working with children.

Salary Package - GBP26k - GBP28k PA Based on Qualification & Experience

Hours - 40 hrs/week

Location: Tunbridge Wells, TN4 area.

Your role as a Nursery Practitioner includes-

• Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and any other appropriate guidance for young children in accordance with nursery policy and guidelines
• Work in partnership with parents/carers, recognising that parents are their children's first educators, and encourage parental involvement in the nursery.
• Assist and attend parents' meetings and open days. Help maintain the safety and security of all children, employees and visitors to the Nursery.
• As a Nursery Practitioner you would need to undertake other duties appropriate to the grade and character of the work as may reasonably be required by the Nursery.
• Attend training and development courses as directed by your Manager or Assessor.
• The Nursery Practitioner must promote good relations between staff members, parents and children at all time. Promote the quality ethos of the nursery.

Person Specification for the ideal Nursery Practitioner

• Minimum Level 3 and above in Childcare & Education and a strong desire to make a difference!
• The ability to deliver high-quality practice.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
