Job summary

Gelston Manor Nursery is seeking a dedicated Early Years practitioner to join the Storal team. You’ll plan activities, observe progress and provide high standards of care using our play-based approach.

You must hold a Level 3 in Childcare, with EYFS knowledge preferred. This is a 40-hour week (Mon–Fri), on site. Salary starts from £13.64 per hour, with a welcome bonus of £1000.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 or above in Childcare.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities and observe progress for children.
• Provide high levels of care and empathy to support learning.
• Apply the Storal curriculum and pedagogy daily.
• Engage with families to support children's development.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.

You’ll also deliver high levels of care and empathy, with an understanding that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity.

We’d love to talk to you if you have the following

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3


• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings
