Toad Hall Nursery Farnborough seeks a Nursery Nurse to support children from 3 months to pre-school age in a warm, inclusive environment. The role offers multiple schedules: full-time, part-time, and job shares, within a thriving nursery group.

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £30,222.40 per annum. The nursery emphasises safeguarding, teamwork, and a 30+ year heritage of nursery care across the group.

Qualifications

• Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS.
• Planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

About Our Farnborough Nursery

Located in The Old Library, a two-storey Grade II listed building, Toad Hall Nursery Farnborough opened in September 2025 and offers spacious rooms and a large natural garden for children to enjoy.

As a new setting, you have the opportunity to help shape the nursery while embracing the Toad Hall approach, established for over 30 years. In 2026, we have plans to start a Forest School and expand our preschool.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
• To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check
