Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery in Woking (GU21 3RT) is seeking a Nursery Nurse to join our caring team, supporting children from 3 months to pre-school age in a safe, inclusive environment.

We offer flexible hours with full-time, part-time or job-share options, a warm, supportive culture, and EYFS-aligned activities to help children thrive.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
• Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to plan activities using EYFS framework
• Awareness of planning, observation and keeping records for nursery-aged children
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children
• Satisfactory Enhanced DBS check

Responsibilities

• Provide care for nursery-aged children in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Support children from 3 months to pre-school age with engaging activities.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver daily routines and learning activities.

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £30,160 per annum

Please note the variety of opportunities available:

• Full time, 40 hours a week
• Job shares, varying from 2-3 days a week
• Part time, 20 hours a week
• Supply roles enabling you to achieve the work/life balance you are looking for

Conveniently located in Goldsworth Park, our bright, purpose-built nursery provides a safe, inspiring environment for children to learn, play, and grow.

Each room has free-flow access to large, secure gardens, including a dedicated growing patch where children can plant, grow, and care for fruits, vegetables, and flowers.

Essential qualifications and experience:

• Suitable qualifications: an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities
