Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse/Practitioner to join a warm, inclusive team. You will care for children aged 0-5, follow our EYFS guidance, and create safe, joyful daily activities that help little ones thrive.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the EYFS and ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• Awareness of planning, observation and keeping records for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Working together with the rest of the team to provide high quality care for children aged 0-5.
• Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery by adhering to the relevant policies and procedures.
• Using your knowledge, experience and imagination to come up with new ideas and activities.
• Building relationships with children and communicating well with their parents.
• Making sure every working day is fun!

About our Wellingborough Nursery

Located in Glenvale Park, our purpose-built nursery opened in December 2023 and features three spacious rooms and a large garden. The nursery can accommodate up to 100 children per day, offering an engaging and enabling environment.

We provide free on-site parking, and the train station is just a 5-minute drive away for those using public transport.
