Job summary

Shiraka Ltd in Windsor is seeking a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse for the 2-3 years room. The role is full-time (45 hours per week) at a private nursery with approx. 70 capacity.

The ideal candidate will have Level 3 EY qualification and experience as a Nursery Nurse or Assistant. You will nurture children, assist with meals and potty training, and foster basic life skills while coordinating with health and care professionals.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to mentor and coach trainees.
• Act as Key-worker and observe children.
• Knowledge of the Children Act.
• Good communication with children and parents.

Job description

My Client, a private Children's Nursery in Windsor are currently looking for a Level 3 qualified Nursery Nurse for their2-3yrs room. This nursery has a capacityfor around70 children and this role is for 45 hours a week.

The ideal candidate will need to have a Level 3 early years qualification and previous experience as a Nursery Nurse or Nursery Assistant would be an advantage. Whether to are a newly qualified Nursery Nurse or have years of experience, working in this setting would certainly by a great career opportunity for you.

Nursery Nurse duties and responsibilities include:

• Feeding suitable meals, snacks and drink
• Changing nappies or helping with potty/toilet training
• Teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• Working with any health and social care professionals, where necessary, and undertaking any relevant admin/paperwork

Nursery Nurse Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification or higher in Early Years qualification
• Good interpersonal skills and an ability to be organised and efficient
• The ability to support trainees through mentoring and coaching
• Acting as Key-worker and to observe
• A working knowledge of the Children's Act.
• Good communication skills both with children and parents
• Ability to form good interactions with children and use own initiative
