St Mary’s Priory CE Infant and Nursery School (Formerly Plympton St Mary’s Infant School) invites applications for a caring Nursery Nurse to join the Early Years team. The school opened its EYFS provision in September 2025 and aims to provide a thriving environment with high expectations and strong school values.

In this role you will support Reception and Nursery classes, contribute to a safe, inclusive setting, and work with teachers to plan engaging activities.

Role: Nursery Nurse

Contract Term: Fixed Term until 31st August 2027

Salary: Grade SC3, SCP 8 - 11 actual per year £7,764 (FTE £27,709)

Hours: 12 hours per week - between 8:30am and 3:30pm

Closing Date: 9am on 30th September 2026

We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Nurse to join our Early Years team. Our school-based nursery opened to three-and four-year-olds in September 2025 and has grown into a thriving EYFS provision. This is a fantastic time to become part of an ambitious and welcoming school community.
