Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd is hiring for a full-time Day Nursery role in Liverpool, within Blackmoor Park Infant School and Kindergarten. The position is year-round (52 weeks) with shifts of 10 hours under a new structure from September 2026.

We seek dedicated carers for children 0–3, with EYFS understanding, strong communication, and a nurturing approach. The role requires teamwork, safeguarding commitment, and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an early years setting is essential.
• Familiarity with EYFS frameworks and planning.
• Paediatric First Aid desirable or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

What skills and experience we're looking for We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, and caring individuals to join our Day Nursery team, which forms part of Blackmoor Park Infant School and Kindergarten.

This is a full-year position on a 52-week contract, and not a term-time only role, so applicants must be able to work throughout the year, including school holiday periods.

Essential Skills and Qualities:

• A genuine passion for working with young children (ages 0–3) and supporting their development
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• A nurturing, patient, and caring approach
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Experience and Qualifications:
• Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection practices
• Experience of planning and delivering engaging activities that support children’s learning and developmen
• Work 10 hour shifts in line with our new operational structure form September 2026. Desirable:
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willingness to obtain)
