Job summary

Toad Hall Nursery Group is seeking a Nursery Nurse at Ottershaw (KT16 0HH). You will join a caring team supporting children from 3 months to pre-school age in a warm, inclusive setting.

The role emphasises energy, creativity, and safeguarding, with opportunities for full-time, part-time, or flexible hours. A strong EYFS background and an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare are essential.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, and the ability to refer to the EYFS Framework when planning activities.
• To be aware of the role of planning, observation and keeping records when caring for nursery aged children.
• Genuine enthusiasm for working with children and meeting their needs.
• A satisfactory Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Support children from 3 months to pre-school age.
• Work as part of a caring team in a safe, inclusive environment.
• Maintain records and observe child development in line with EYFS.

Salary for Nursery Nurse is up to £30,160 per annum

• Full time, 40 hours a week
• Job shares, varying from 2-3 days a week
• Part time, 20 hours a week
• Supply roles enabling you to achieve the work/life balance you are looking for

Located on Brox Road in Chertsey, our nursery is easily accessible from the M25 and set in a charming, historic former schoolhouse, providing a warm, inviting environment.
