Vision for Education Ltd is hiring an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a large Early Years setting in Hexham, Northumberland, on a full-time basis. The role involves supporting classrooms, assisting with routines, and promoting play-based learning under the EYFS framework.

The position runs from October 2026 to July 2027, with weekly pay between £462.80 and £500, depending on experience and qualifications. A Level 3 EYFS qualification and recent EYFS experience are essential, with potential 1:1

The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to support a large Early Years setting across Nursery and Reception in Hexham. The role includes providing classroom support, assisting with daily routines, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework. Some 1:1 SEN support may be required. A relevant Level 3 qualification and recent EYFS experience are essential, and a first aid qualification is desirable.

Requirements

The desired TA will have;

• Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification/ L3 TA qualification
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND
• A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
• An ability to work as part of a team
