Job summary

Vision for Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to support a large Early Years setting across Nursery and Reception in Ashington, Northumberland. The role offers £462.80-£500 per week (PAYE), with temporary to permanent progression, from October 2026 to July 2027.

Responsibilities include classroom support, daily routines, promoting positive behaviour and play-based EYFS learning. Experience with SEND and a current Level 3 EYFS qualification are essential; a first aid qualification is

• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.

The School and Role

Vision for Education is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Nurse to support a large Early Years setting across Nursery and Reception in Ashington. The role includes providing classroom support, assisting with daily routines, promoting positive behaviour, and supporting play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework. Some 1:1 SEN support may be required. A relevant Level 3 qualification and recent EYFS experience are essential, and a first aid qualification is desirable.
