Nursery Manager | Wandsworth | Large Setting

We are recruiting for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a well-established nursery setting in Wandsworth.

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of the setting, lead and develop a strong team, drive quality and make a real impact on the nursery's performance.

About the Nursery

The nursery is a 68-place setting with five rooms and a fantastic garden area, including a mud kitchen, bikes and scooters for the children to enjoy.

The setting is also situated close to a number of local parks, giving children further opportunities to enjoy outdoor learning and explore the local area.

The nursery was rated Good by Ofsted in April 2022.

The Role

As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Leading, developing and retaining your team
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and quality
• Driving continuous improvement and strong Early Years practice
• Preparing the team for Ofsted and developing their confidence
• Building strong relationships with parents and carers
• Supporting recruitment and developing future leaders

About You

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager or senior Early Years leader with:

• Strong people management and leadership experience
• Good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted
• Recent Ofsted inspection experience
• Experience driving quality improvement
• Strong understanding of Early Years practice
