Job summary

Partou Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-school in Bristol is seeking a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead the setting, overseeing a 40-hour week and ensuring high standards of learning and development in line with EYFS.

You will lead a team, maintain a safe, inclusive environment and build strong partnerships with families and childcare colleagues to support children's progress.

Qualifications

• Qualified to at least Level 3 in Early Years (or equivalent).
• GCSE Maths or equivalent required.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS framework.
• Experience leading a team in an early years setting.
• Committed to safeguarding and CPD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations of the nursery and pre-school.
• Inspire and supervise the staff team to deliver high-quality EYFS activity.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for children.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with families and childcare colleagues.
• Oversee safeguarding, welfare, and continuous professional development.

About The Role

Partou Stepping Stones Day Nursery & Pre-school is seeking a dedicated and passionate nursery practitioner to take on the full-time 40 hours per week role of Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of the setting. You will work towards ensuring children engage in stimulating activities that support their learning and development in line with the EYFS. You will lead and inspire your team, maintain a safe and inclusive environment, and build strong partnerships with childcare colleagues and families.
