Job summary

St George’s Nursery Group in the East Midlands is seeking an experienced nursery leader to manage daily operations, support and develop a dedicated team, and ensure safeguarding and EYFS standards are met.

You will build strong relationships with families and colleagues while driving occupancy and creating a thriving environment for children and staff.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Early Years qualification or higher.
• Minimum of two years’ early years experience.
• Experience leading and motivating a nursery team.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of the nursery.
• Inspire, support and develop your team.
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, care and EYFS practice.

Contract: Fixed-term maternity cover, (With the possibility this could lead to a permanent role at one of our nurseries).

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Shifts between 7:30am and 6:00pm.

Salary: Up to £44,000 per annum + Annual salary reviews and bonus opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
• At least two years’ early years or other suitable experience
• Experience leading and motivating a nursery team
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and regulatory requirements
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, professional and family-focused approach
