Job summary

Academics is partnering with a private nursery in Hammersmith & Fulham to recruit a Nursery Manager from September 2026. You will lead the setting, shape the team, and influence daily experiences for children and families. The role requires strong EYFS knowledge and a focus on safeguarding and compliance. This is a full-time, permanent position.

Salary ranges £45,000–£50,000 per annum, with a 42-hour week and a supportive senior leadership team in a well-resourced nursery environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Early Years/Childcare or higher.
• Proven leadership experience in a nursery setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to children's welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide confident and inspirational leadership to the nursery team.
• Ensure high-quality care, learning and development opportunities for children.
• Lead the implementation of EYFS and maintain excellent educational standards.
• Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, compliance and nursery procedures.
• Coach, support and develop practitioners, creating a positive team culture.
