Job summary

Early Years Academy is seeking an experienced Nursery Manager for Streatham, London. You will oversee daily nursery operations, lead a team of early years practitioners and ensure compliance with EYFS and Ofsted standards.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum) with leadership experience; Level 5 leadership is advantageous. Salary up to £18 per hour, with professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in nursery management or senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS statutory framework and Ofsted requirements.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confident, enthusiastic and well-organised leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily running and effective management of the nursery.
• Lead, motivate and support a team of early years practitioners.
• Ensure EYFS compliance and Ofsted readiness.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety standards.
• Recruitment, inductions, supervision and staff development.
• Develop relationships with families and external agencies.
• Monitor learning, assessments and occupancy to support nursery success.
