Job description

Woodland Primary Academy is seeking a Nursery Manager to provide safe, high-quality education and care for our pre-school children. We are looking for candidates with imagination, energy, and commitment to make a positive difference in our nursery/school. We would welcome applicants who are able to:

1. Provide safe, high-quality education and care for pre-school children;
2. Fulfill legal statutory requirements;
3. Lead and manage staff on a day-to-day basis;
4. Contribute to and implement nursery policies;
5. Form positive, supportive relationships with children and parents;
6. Work well as part of a team;
7. Work proactively and use initiative;
8. Be calm and patient;
9. Be intuitive and responsive to children’s individual needs;
10. Believe that every child can succeed.

Hours: 37 hours per week, Term Time plus 2 weeks (40 weeks per year)
