About the Role:
A well-established, high-quality nursery setting in Borehamwood is seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Manager to lead our team and ensure outstanding care and early education for children aged 0–5 years. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and dedicated individual to take ownership of a thriving nursery and play a key role in its ongoing success.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the nursery
Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted standards and maintains a safe, stimulating environment
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and curriculum in line with EYFS guidelines
Support, mentor, and manage a team of early years practitioners
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external agencies
Monitor and improve quality standards across the setting
Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or above desirable)
Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a nursery setting
Excellent knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding requirements
Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Passionate about providing high-quality early years education and care
