Job summary

Staff Match Limited is recruiting on behalf of a well established nursery in Bicester for an experienced Nursery Manager. You will lead day-to-day operations, motivate staff and develop early years learning portfolios for children aged 0–5.

Acting as the main link with families, you will arrange events, coordinate parent sessions and oversee invoicing, back office tasks and budget management. A passion for early years and at least two years in a similar role are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership experience and the ability to motivate a team.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar nursery management role.
• Passion for early years education and child development.
• Desirable: Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, Paediatric First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day nursery operations and staff supervision.
• Ensure policy and procedures are followed by all staff.
• Build relationships with parents and coordinate events.
• Support marketing activities and community engagement.
• Oversee invoicing, fee calculations, back office tasks.
• Manage learning portfolios and differentiate activities for ages 0–5.
• Mentor and lead by example.

Based in Bicester, Oxfordshire, Staff Match are recruiting on behalf of a well established nursery who requires a require an experienced Nursery Manager. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years management experience and have a real passion for early years.

Some of the responsibilities of Nursery Manager will include

• Lead responsibility for day to day nursery operations
• Ensuring staff comply with policy and procedures
• Partnership working with parents, building positive relationships, arranging events, drop in sessions
• Marketing - pro-active in arranging advertising, leaflet drops etc.
• Invoicing, fee calculation, Back office, material ordering, HR, Finance
• Manage individual children's learning portfolios
• Differentiating learning activities for age range 0 - 5 years
• Leading by example and mentoring staff
