Job summary

Staff Match Limited is assisting a well-established nursery group in Leicester to recruit a Nursery Manager. The role requires a minimum of two years’ management experience and a genuine passion for early years. You will lead day-to-day operations, ensure policy adherence, and work closely with parents to build relationships.

Desirable certifications include Basic Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid. The role involves marketing, occupancy management, invoicing, HR and finance, and Ofsted

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day nursery operations.
• Ensure staff comply with policy and procedures.

• Embed the EYFS curriculum in practice.
• Prepare for Ofsted inspections.
• Oversee recruitment, supervisions and appraisals.

Based in Leicester, Leicestershire Staff Match are recruiting on behalf of a well established nursery group and have an exciting role as a Nursery Manager. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 2 years management experience and have a real passion for early years.

Some of the responsibilities of Nursery Manager will include:

• Lead responsibility for day to day nursery operations
• Ensuring staff comply with policy and procedures
• Partnership working with parents, building positive relationships, arranging events, drop in sessions
• Marketing and managing occupancy
• Invoicing, fee calculation, Back office, material ordering, HR, Finance
• Ensuring EYFS curriculum is effectively embedded in practice
• Preparing for Ofsted inspections
• Managing recruitment, supervisions and appraisals
