Job summary

Thrive Pudsey Nursery in Leeds is seeking a committed Early Years Practitioner to join Thrive Childcare and Education. The role covers planning and delivering EYFS activities, supporting children's learning and wellbeing, and ensuring a safe, stimulating environment.

Two levels of pay exist (£13.25–£13.55 per hour); positions available part-time or full-time, with strong focus on team collaboration and progression.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification required.
• Experience as an Early Years Practitioner/Nursery Practitioner/Nursery Nurse preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities.
• Support children's learning, development and school readiness.
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers.
• Observe, assess and track children's progress.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment.
• Pursue ongoing professional development in Early Years.

This role is ideal for an experienced Early Years Practitioner, Nursery Practitioner, or Nursery Nurse looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking childcare setting. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality early years education and care, ensuring every child has the best start in life.
