Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager to lead a nursery team and ensure high-quality early years provision. You will support EYFS implementation, oversee planning and records, and build strong partnerships with families and local authorities.

The role requires safeguarding knowledge, First Aid, and experience managing nursery staff, with a view to driving quality and professional development in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Childcare and education qualification equivalent to NVQ level 3.
• Experience managing a room or team within a nursery setting.
• Current First Aid qualification.
• Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Thorough knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
• Formal management qualification is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS.
• Oversee planning and record-keeping.
• Promote partnerships with parents and carers.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and other agencies.
• Stay updated with current developments in childcare and education policies.
• Assist with nursery accounts.
• Prepare for staff and parent meetings.
