Job summary

Banana Moon Franchise is opening a brand-new nursery and is recruiting a Nursery Cook to join the founding team. You will prepare healthy meals for children aged 0-5, maintain high hygiene standards, manage allergens, and help shape our mealtime routine from day one.

Part-time hours offer flexibility, and you will work closely with the nursery team in a modern kitchen, ensuring meals are nutritious, tasty, and suitable for young children while supporting a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Experience cooking for children, ideally in a nursery or school setting.
• Food hygiene qualifications (Level 2 or above preferred).
• Ability to manage allergens and follow safe food practices.
• Organised, reliable and positive team player.
• A warm, friendly approach to working with young children and families.

We're opening a brand-new nursery and are looking for an experienced cook to become a key part of our team. If you enjoy creating nourishing food for young children and want to help set the standard from day one, this could be the perfect role for you.

About The Role

We need a Nursery Cook who can prepare healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5. You will be responsible for maintaining excellent food hygiene, managing allergens correctly, and keeping the kitchen organised, safe, and welcoming. As one of the first members of our team, you'll play an important part in shaping our food routines and mealtime experience.
