Job summary

Storal Learning Ltd. is seeking a Nursery Chef/Cook to support our kitchen teams across multiple Manchester-area nurseries. You will prepare nutritious, freshly made meals while maintaining high standards of safety and hygiene in line with EYFS guidance.

Ideally you hold Level 2 Food Hygiene and have commercial kitchen experience. You will cover holiday and sickness absences, with travel across sites and a supportive, family-friendly team environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Food Hygiene required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen as assistant cook/chef or similar.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing nutritious, freshly made meals.
• Maintain high safety and hygiene standards in the nursery kitchen.
• Support kitchen operations across sites to cover holidays and sickness.
• Cater to children with specific dietary needs.
• Maintain stock and rotate ingredients per guidelines.
