Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting enthusiastic Nursery Practitioners to work across nurseries and Early Years settings in Wakefield and surrounding areas. Immediate start available with flexible shifts to suit your availability.

Ideal candidates will have a minimum of six months experience working with children, a caring and professional approach, and knowledge of the EYFS. PAYE payroll ensures accurate tax and National Insurance contributions.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

• A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children

• Confidence supporting children within an Early Years environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills

The ability to provide a safe, positive and engaging environment for children, Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

A willingness to support across different age groups where required
