Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Nursery Assistant for a private day nursery in Keighley. The role is full-time and permanent with an immediate start, supporting children’s learning and development in line with EYFS.

You will join a supportive team focused on creating a safe, stimulating environment and opportunities for professional growth within Early Years.

Qualifications

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable
• Good understanding of EYFS framework
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a supportive team
• Positive, hardworking attitude with willingness to learn and progress

The nursery offers a supportive team environment where staff can develop their skills, build confidence and work together to provide a positive learning experience for young children.

The nursery is looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children's learning and development through engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, while helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.

The successful Nursery Assistant will have:

• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years is desirable
• Previous experience working with children in a nursery or Early Years setting is desirable
• A good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS framework
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a supportive team
• A positive, hardworking attitude with a willingness to learn, develop new skills and progress within Early Years
