Job summary

SJB Medical is seeking a Functional Assessor at one of our UK centres. You will carry out functional assessments to support health-related benefit applications, applying clinical judgement with regular hours, no night shifts or weekend work, and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Be a registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)
• Have at least 12 months' post-registration experience within the last 5 years
• Have no current restrictions to practice

Responsibilities

• Conduct functional assessments and produce clear, accurate, high-quality reports
• Use clinical judgement to assess a wide range of physical and mental health conditions
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate records in line with clinical governance and quality standards
• Engage in ongoing training, CPD, and clinical supervision
• Deliver assessments with empathy, professionalism, and integrity
